Where do we begin?  Reconstructive dentistry begins with a consultation with Dr. Djawdan to discuss how you currently see the health and appearance of your smile and what you would like to see accomplished with reconstructive dentistry. Because Dr. Djawdan has the advanced training and experience to personally handle each step of reconstructive dentistry, he can help you explore the possible solutions to include a timeline, how many visits, and what kind of budget you could expect based on what you would like to accomplish.  Reconstructive dentistry is an excellent investment in your health and appearance. 

The next step if you decide that you are ready to get started is to create the blueprint for your reconstructive dentistry.  We use neuromuscular dentistry to help us create this blueprint.  Neuromuscular dentistry is the art and science of using the relaxed position of the muscles of the head and neck to place the jaw into an optimal physiologic position.  We utilize the Tens Unit to help relax the muscles so an accurate bite registration can be taken.

We use digital photography to assess the smile line and the relationship of the smile with facial features.  We take digital x-rays to access the health of your teeth and a digital CT scan to fully visualize your reconstruction in a virtual 3-D environment.
