The spread of Lyme disease
Deer and black-legged ticks carry this bacteria and transfer it to humans through a bite. The ticks require to attach themselves to the host for 24 to 48 hours to transmit the bacteria. Eliminate them as soon as you spot them. You should check areas with good blood supply such as armpits, navel, groin, back of knees, and hairline— they provide optimum conditions for their nutrition.
Signs and symptoms of Lyme disease
Lyme disease occurs in three stages. A bull's eye rash manifests in the early localized stage— approximately 3 to 30 days after the bite. If unattended to, they may grow 30 cm or more in diameter. You may find it difficult to open your mouth and experience temporomandibular joint (TMJ) pains.
Multiple areas with tinier than (early localized stage) ring-shaped bull's eye rashes characterize the early disseminated stage (a few weeks to months later). Musculoskeletal bone and joint pains, neck stiffness, and fatigue, among others, depict the symptoms of this stage.

Lyme disease and dental health
Lyme disease may cause burning mouth syndrome. It may indicate a neurological exposure of the lower jaw on the nerves receiving and sending signals to your brain. Treatment of Lyme disease
